PIKA GOLD & PIKA SILVER

Electropolishing Solutions

       The conventional method for polishing gold, gold allys and silver alloys required the use of
     cyanide, a highly poisonous substance, as the primary agent for electropolishing. However,
     we and JASCO have succeeded in developing PIKA GOLD & PIKA SILVER, revolutionary
     electropolishing solutions. The new solutions, which do not contain cyanide at all, are
     non-poisonous treatment that will increase the safety and efficiency of the electropolising
     process. PIKA GOLD & PIKA SILVER are ideal for creating a uniform gloss finish on
     complex-shaped cast, pressed and necklace products.

【 Characteristics of PIKA GOLD ( electropolishing solution for gold ) 】：

   ・PIKA GOLD does not contain cyanide at all. Therefore,
     appropriate equipment for resolving cyanide is not
     essential.
   ・PIKA GOLD is ideal for gold and gold alloys such as 9K,
     14K, 18K, WG, and 21K.
   ・PIKA GOLD is highly efficient electrolysis and
     the loss in the weight of gold is small.
   ・A beautiful luster can be obtained on complex-shpaes.
   ・PIKA GOLD will not discolor braze-welded areas.
   ・PIKA GOLD solutions are colorless, transparent and
     weak acid.
   ・PIKA GOLD is combination of inorganic acids, special
     ornganic matter and surface active agents.
   ・In order to use PIKA GOLD, equipment for
     electropolishing is necessary.

( chemical polishing and anti-tarnish solutions ) for gold and gold alloys 】：

   ・GOLD BRIGHTENER A is ideal for removing oxided film and tarnish from braze-welded area.
   ・Gold can hardly get damaged by GOLD BRIGHTENER A.
   ・GOLD BRIGHTENER A neutralizes and resolves chemical
     solution in the blowholes of castings.
   ・METAL SHINE P・G・S will keep beautiful luster of gold after electropolishing.
   ・GOLD BRIGHTENER A and BR do not contain cyanide
     at all, so the appropriate equipment for resolving cyanide
     is not essential.

【 Characteristics of PIKA SILVER ( electropolishing solution for silver ) 】：

   ・PIKA SILVER does not contains cyanide at all. Therefore,
     appropriate equipment for resolving cyanide is not
     essential.
   ・The rate of metal loss by polishing products with
     PIKA SILVER is low.
   ・Complex-shaped parts and inner sides which buffs does
     not reach are uniformly brightened more.
   ・PIKA SILVER is capable of grinding the oxidized film of
     the silver in a short time and make the surface of it
     shine. Therefore, long buff polishing and tumbler polishing
     are to be abridged. Furthermore, it imporves the work
     efficiency of polishing process.
   ・In order to use PIKA SILVER, equipment for
     electropolishing is necessary.
